Kenyan striker Michael Olunga's market value has dropped by Sh24million in the last seven months.

Olunga, who was valued at £630000 (Sh85 million) by December 2016, had dropped Sh24 million with his current transfer market value pegged at £450000 (Sh63 million).

While the former Tusker and Gor Mahia man still remain one of the most sought after player from Kenya, after Tottenham Hotspurs’ midfielder, Victor Wanyama, the recently enacted foreign quota rule in the Chinese Super League has seen Olunga being axed from first team to Guizhou Zhicheng reserves squad.

Olunga signed a four-year contract with Guizhou Zhicheng on a record deal of Sh1.2 billion where he is taking home a monthly salary of Sh12m.

Currently, Olunga is linked with a move away from Chinese league with his former club, Djurgardens IF of Sweden a possible destination as he seeks for first team place.
