The PSV and El Tri teammates continued to roll, but will face a tougher task in European competition this week

Hirving Lozano's biggest match of the week is Wednesday when PSV takes on Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League, but that doesn't mean the Mexican winger neglected his weekend Eredivisie contest against Emmen.

Lozano set up a pair of goals for forward Luuk De Jong before Donyell Malen set him up with a chance of his own in the 88th minute. Lozano pushed to his right foot and fired the sixth and final goal past goalkeeper Kjell Scherpen.

Erick Gutierrez, Lozano's teammate with club and country, played his biggest portion of minutes all season when he came on at the half, and he also scored a goal in the romp. PSV couldn't convert a corner kick in the 79th minute, but the ball bounced to Gutierrez after a goal-line scramble. The former Pachuca player put it into the roof of the net for his third Eredivisie goal this season in just 104 minutes of action.

It was a big return for Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez, who hadn't seen the field since September 1 after struggling with an illness that later caused issues with his organs. Now healthy, the forward came on as a substitute for West Ham United against Spurs, playing 33 minutes. He put the ball in the back of the net, but the flag was up for offside and the Hammers ultimately fell, 1-0.

Raul Jimenez also played in England, starting for Wolves and going an hour before making way. The forward played in both Mexico matches during the international break.

Fewer Mexicans were in action in Spain this weekend than usual. That was to be expected with Andres Guardado currently out with an injury for Real Betis and Hector Moreno's Real Sociedad playing Monday. Nestor Araujo was suspended for Celta de Vigo after seeing red before the international break (former Monterrey manager Antonino Mohamed's job reportedly is safe despite not getting a win in the last six La Liga matches). But Miguel Layun also didn't see any time either, staying on the bench throughout all of Villarreal's 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid

It was an easy weekend for Porto in cup action, with the Dragons throttling third-division Vila Real, 6-0. Hector Herrera started and was replaced just after the hour mark by fellow El Tri player Jesus "Tecatito" Corona. They'll face a stiffer test this weekend, traveling to Russia for a Champions League contest against Lokomotiv.

Also in PortugalAntonio "Pollo" Briseno got the week off with Feirense using an alternate lineup for its cup victory. Diego Reyes didn't play in Turkey, either.

Guillermo Ochoa was in action for Standard in Belgium and helped the club keep a clean sheet in a scoreless draw with Royal Excel Mouscron. Omar Govea made the bench in Belgium but still has played only the 16 minutes of his Antwerp debut before being sent off back in August.
