KPL transfers: Gor Mahia loan out two to Nakumatt and Wazito

Gor Mahia have loaned out two players to Nakumatt and Wazito FC ahead of 2018 Kenyan Premier League season.

K’Ogalo CEO Omondi Aduda has confirmed to Goal that Jacob Uyonga and Maqbul Mohammed will play on loan at Nakumatt and promoted side Wazito FC next season.

“We have reached an agreement to loan out Mohammed (Maqbul) and Uyonga to Nakumatt and Wazito. We want the players to gain premier league experience hence the decision to let them join the top league.”

Gor Mahia will represent Kenya in the Caf Champions League and have been drawn to face Leones Vegetarianos of Equatorial Guinea. The Kenyan champions will host Leones Vegetarianos between February 9-11, 2018, for the first leg match before traveling to Equatorial Guinea for the return leg a week later.

The return leg will be hosted between February 16 and 18. The winner between Gor Mahia and Vegetarianos will meet the winner between ASAC Concorde of Mauritania and Etoile du Sahil from Tunisia in the first round.
