Gor Mahia will wind up the season with a game against Tusker at Kasarani on October 7

Gor Mahia will be handed a record 17th Kenyan Premier League trophy on September 29th.

K’Ogalo sealed the league a week ago following a 2-0 victory over AFC Leopards at the Kasarani Stadium. But the league defending champions will officially be crowned after their game against Mathare United at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

“Gor Mahia will officially receive the trophy after the game against Mathare United in Machakos,” KPL CEO Jack Oguda told Goal.

The decision by KPL has just saved Tusker the embarrassment of seeing K’Ogalo pick up the trophy that the Brewers surrendered in 2017.

Gor Mahia will wind up the season with a game against Tusker at Kasarani on October 7 when the season finally comes to an end.
