Kakamega Homeboyz head coach Paul Nkata says he will treat Mathare United with ‘respect’ when the two sides face each other on Saturday.
The ‘Slum Boys’ have been starved of positive performance in the recent games where they have dropped 10 of a possible 15 points in the last five games.
Despite coming into the match as favourites, Nkata says his charges should not be too comfortable with the Francis Kimanzi led side.
"First thing is that we are away, meaning they will have an advantage of playing at home.
“This is football and anything can happen. It is all about having the right mentality just before playing. We are prepared for the match, and we believe we have what it takes to win.
"All we should do is to take our chances; sometimes we create but finishing becomes a problem. We should be composed and be clinical."
Homeboyz is currently placed in the tenth position with 37 points.
