The experienced Amakhosi striker is wary of the Buccaneers' trickery, but is confident of doing well in Durban

Kaizer Chiefs striker Bernard Parker says they are aware that Orlando Pirates will come at them, but they are banking on their good run at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.

The Amakhosi striker was speaking ahead of the Telkom Knockout Cup semi-final match on Saturday afternoon, saying they have a chance to lift the trophy.

“It's a big game and a must win for us and we are aware it's a cup match. We always get through given our history. We have the advantage of always winning the cup,'" Parker told the media on Thursday.

“We went through a slump, it's up to us to turn this around. We know how our opponents play and we know how they will come at us," he added.

'Die Hond' said they are a winning side in Durban as he remembers beating their old rivals at the same venue a few seasons ago.

“Moses Mabhida has been good to us. We have good memories having won the MTN8 final against the same opponent. We will have to multiply our efforts - it's not going be an easy one,” he concluded.

Moreover, coach Giovanni Solinas will want to bag his first win over Pirates following their 2-1 loss in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) match last month as they have a good record over their rivals.

Contrastingly for coach Milutin Sredojevic, he will hope to lead his men to end their TKO Cup winless run against Chiefs, but they will also bank on their recent win in the league a month ago.
