Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates target Jantjie eager to save Free State Stars

It is believed that Amakhosi, Bucs and Masandawana have all made inquiries about the skillful player, who joined Stars from Mbombela United last year

Reported Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates Sinethemba Jantjie is only focused on helping Free State Stars survive relegation.

The 28-year-old midfielder is believed to have attracted interest from the biggest clubs in the country in his debut season in the PSL.

Jantjie recently sealed Stars' 3-1 victory over PSL title contenders Bidvest Wits and the dribbling wizard discussed their chances of surviving relegation.

“It was an important goal in my career," Jantjie was quoted on Daily Sun.

"I’m happy I scored against a big team and log leaders. Our chances to survive relegation are in our hands," the winger, who has scored once in 12 league matches, continued.

“Even though we lost games, we didn’t play badly. We made a few mistakes that cost us. But the coach has confidence in our ability to win our remaining matches," he added.

Ea Lla Koto have received a R2 million boost from Free State Premier, Sekgobela Magashule, to ensure the club stay in the PSL.

"It motivates us that people out there are behind us and want to see the club stay in PSL," Jantjie concluded.

Stars are two points above the relegation zone with two league matches left.
