Bengaluru FC have loaned out their Honduran striker Roby Norales to I-League second division outfit Ozone FC.

Thursday, 2nd February 2017, was the deadline for second division clubs to register their loanees and the Bengaluru-based team moved swiftly in order to secure the number 9's services. Ozone FC were desperate to land a forward after an injury suffered by their Trinidadian and former Mohun Bagan attacker Cornell Glen ruled him out for the remainder of the season.

Though the 26-year-old scored a goal for The Blues against Chennai City and won a penalty away to Churchill Brothers in the I-league, coach Albert Roca wasn't convinced about his ability to fit into his side's style of play. Despite one start and two substitute appearances, Norales couldn't establish himself which means Bengaluru will have to widen the range of their recruitment telescope once again.

In what was indicative of the coach's perception, the former Real Sociedad forward was named on the bench for Bengaluru's Asian Football Confederation's (AFC) Champions League qualifying loss to Jordanian side Al Wehdat on Tuesday, but was not utilised by Roca even with his side chasing the game in the closing stages.

Bengaluru, who are currently fourth on the I-League table, have until February 15th to finalise a replacement for the Honduran.
