Donny van de Beek opened the scoring for the hosts three minutes into the encounter before the harvest of goals in the second half.
Kasper Dolberg doubled the lead in the 48th minute followed by Ricardo van Rhijn's own goal four minutes later.
Moments later, Ziyech made it four with Dusan Tadic rounding up the win in the 84th minute.
The Morroco international has now scored four goals in eight league matches this term for Erik ten Hag's side, placed second in the Eredivisie log with 19 points in as many league outings.
Cameroon goalkeeper Andre Onana was in action for the entire duration and kept his second successive clean sheet in the league for the hosts.
