Lobi Stars are eyeing an improved performance against Gor Mahia in the Caf Champions League.

The Nigerian giants reached the next round of the competition after eliminating UMS de Loum of Cameroon on a 2-1 aggregate while Gor Mahia advanced after seeing off Nyasa Big Bullets of Malawi on a 5-4 aggregate win.

Despite Lobi Stars winning 2-0 at home against the Cameroonian side, coach Solomon Ogbeide has revealed that they do not have anything to celebrate yet and must work on improving their shooting skills before they face K’Ogalo.

“It is the desire of every coach to win a game and that is what I have just done. It is not yet Uhuru because we still have work to do better than we are. We will go back and make corrections. “We will begin to do goal scoring exercises until it becomes part of us. Football is no basketball where any time you go down there you dunk. We will begin to do our best and I believe it should be enough to get us what we desire before our next match against Gor Mahia.”

However, before the two sides clash, Gor Mahia have a league match to open their title defence against Bandari on Saturday.
