Former Posta Rangers midfielder Godfrey Kataka joins Wazito

Former Posta Rangers midfielder Godfrey Kataka has joined Wazito.

Kataka has struggled to regain full fitness since his return from an injury that forced him to undergo a hip surgery in 2017.

Kataka returned to action for the mailmen in April, but failed to impress coach Sammy Omollo, leading to his release, barely a month after he resumed training after sitting out for almost a year.

Goal understands that the player, who joined Rangers from Ushuru in 2015, has found a new home at Wazito, though the deal is yet to be made public by his new club.

The acquisition of Kataka will be some sort of relief for coach Frank Ouna who has lost some of the prized assets like Pistone Mutamba to Sofapaka and Harun Nyakha and Joseph Waithira who joined Nakumatt FC.
