The 23-year-old was on the books of the Amakhosi from 2007 until 2013, before moving on to SuperSport United where he was loaned out to FC Cape Town. The centre forward also previously had stints at Moroka Swallows and most recently Santos. Nonetheless, recent reports suggest that he is currently on the books of Polish IV Liga club Proch Pionki ever since making his move at the beginning of 2017.
Meanwhile, Nqabeni’s impressive performances has led to the club keeping a keen eye on other South African talent, and he could soon be united with another fellow South African in Mkhanyiseli Siwahla, who is currently training with Pionki.
The 28-year-old has been in the football wilderness following spells with Ajax Cape Town and Chippa United and is believed to be keen on reviving his career. Nevertheless, indications are that he has impressed in training and he could subsequently earn a deal at the European club.
