After his team fell to a 2-1 defeat to Kedah in their round 12 Malaysia Super League match on Saturday, Selangor boss Nazliazmi Nasir has urged his charges to cut out their mistakes.
Baddrol Bakhtiar opened the scoring in the 28th minute in the match that was held at the Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium, before a defensive mistake led to Kedah's second, scored by Liridon Krasniqi in the 52nd minute. Substitute Syahmi Safari, playing in his first match since his lengthy injury, pulled one back for the hosts in the 71st minute, but they ultimately could not find the equaliser.

Speaking in the post-match press conference, Nazliazmi remarked that his men played well in general, but were undone by their own mistakes.
"We lost but we challenged Kedah, especially in the final 30 minutes. We showed slight improvement as compared to the previous match (against Kedah) when we lost 4-0, but that is football.
"What separated the two sides was our failure to put away the numerous chances we had in the first half, while Kedah were able to convert the few chances they created.
"Kedah scored their second goal too easily. My men have to know the importance of certain situations when we are trailing, but instead we were punished by individual defensive errors.
"But the blame for tonight's defeat is not down to individuals, everyone needs to shoulder the blame, especially me as the head coach," explained the former youth coach.
Following the defeat, the Red Giants have dropped down one spot to ninth place.
