Early kick off as Kariobangi Sharks and Bandari match changes venue

Visiting Bandari FC will be hunting for their first victory against Kariobangi Sharks when both sides square it out at the Camp Toyoyo on Sunday.

The early kick-off match was moved from Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos to the Capital, a slight reprieve for Ken Odhiambo coached side who are yet to pick maximum points against Sharks in the domestic league since their promotion to the top tier last season.

Sitting three points and two points above Sharks, Bandari will ride on the psychological as well as the neutral ground advantage to hunt for their maiden victory against the sea mammals.

Statistically speaking, the Dockers rank slightly higher in ball possession; 61 percent as compared to Sharks’ 60 percent.

Bandari also have a higher defense prowess that boasts of 0.2 percent concessions rate to Sharks’1.6 percent on average gameplay. 

But Bandari should be aware that they are meeting a Sharks side that edged them out with an identical 1-0 victories, both home and away, last season.

The match will also kick off a bit early at 11.00 am.
