Dennis Bonaventure and Sofyan Amrabat were on the scoresheet while Moussa Djenepo was sent off in Club Brugge's 3-0 defeat of Standard Liege on Sunday.

The Blue-Black’s imperious first-half showing ensured they clinched their tenth league win of the season and return to winning ways after a three-game winless run.

Stefano Denswil started the impressive performance with his opener seven minutes into the encounter.

Ten minutes later, Bonaventure, making his ninth league appearance this term, doubled the lead to take his tally to three goals and after the half-hour mark, Amrabat sealed the commanding victory.

In the 89th minute, Standard Liege were reduced to 10 men as Djenepo was sent off after picking a second booking.
