"Our match with Abia Warriors is a key game for us considering our aspirations this season," Maikaba told media.
"We have a team that can get positive results against any team in this league irrespective of the venue. So we are here in Umuahia with the conviction that we have all it takes to win.
"We do not have any injury concerns and Ubong Friday is back, so we have well-motivated players for this match. They know the importance of every match. That is why I am very positive that my players will deliver on Wednesday".
Despite with a game on hand, Akwa United are third on the log with 46 points, while Abia Warriors are 11th with 38 points from 29 games.
