That's all from us today folks, we hope you enjoyed the game!
Parma remain 19th in Serie A, four points from safety and they face Cagliari next time out. Meanwhile Milan strengthen their hold on second place, ahead of their game against Genoa next weekend.
Milan hold on to secure a 3-1 victory over Parma, despite playing the final half an hour with 10-men after Ibrahimovic was sent off for dissent. They led 2-0 at the break and looked comfortable, however, after Ibrahimovic was shown a straight red card, Parma began to press forward and got their reward on 66 minutes, when Gagliolo scored. The hosts pushed for an equaliser, but couldn't find a way through and the visitors punished them in stoppage time, as Leao made it 3-1 following a counter-attack.
Diogo Dalot
90' + 4' Dalot sprinted past a couple of Parma defenders and then passed to Leao to his left who had plenty of space to run into and the striker superbly finished.
Rafael Leão
90' + 4' GOAL! Milan counter quickly catching Parma out and Leao scores a late third goal to make it 3-1! Dalot races forward and then lays it off to an unmarked Leao, who only had Sepe to beat and the striker made no mistakes with the finish, coolly sliding it into the bottom right corner of the net.
90' + 3' CLOSE! Bani gets up ahead of his marker and powers a header towards the bottom right corner of the net, however, it flies just wide of the post, with Donnarumma scrambling across.
90' + 2' Parma have had the fewest wins in Serie A this season (three): only 6.4% of the sides with three or fewer wins after 29 Serie A matches in a season (3/47) avoided relegation at the end of the campaign.
90' There will be a minimum of five minutes added time played at the end of the second half.
S. Meïté
Yellow Card
90' A late booking here for Meite after his challenge on Traore.
89' The visitors are wasting as much time as they possibly can with every set piece and throw in, just running down the clock to see the game out.
87' Time is starting to run out for Parma here, there are only a few minutes left on the clock. Milan have everyone back behind the ball, desperately holding onto their slim lead.
C. Traorè
A. Conti
85' Parma have also made a change, with Conti replaced by Traore.
Rafael Leão
A. Rebić
84' Rebic is the latest player to be replaced, with Leao coming onto the pitch.
83' It is very lively here, with both teams flying into challenges and Parma now have less than 10 minutes to find an equaliser.
F. Kessié
Yellow Card
80' Another yellow card, this time it is shown to Kessie, after his foul on Kuritc around the halfway line.
79' Decent effort! Donnarumma has to get across quickly to deny Grassi, after the midfielder found space and fired an effort towards the bottom left corner of the net. However, the Milan keeper makes a good save.
M. Gabbia
P. Kalulu
78' Kalulu is also coming off and he has been replaced by Gabbia.
T. Hernández
Yellow Card
78' A late sliding challenge on Man down the left sees Hernandez booked.
R. Krunić
H. Çalhanoğlu
77' Another double change by Milan now, with Calhanoglu one of those heading off the pitch and he has been replaced by Krunic.
76' Parma are piling the pressure on Milan now, they are throwing players forward and Milan are sitting deeper and deeper to soak it up. Can they get an equaliser?
M. Busi
G. Pezzella
74' The hosts have responded by making a change of their own, with Pezzella heading off and he has been replaced by Busi.
Diogo Dalot
A. Saelemaekers
72' The other change sees Dalot replace Saelemaekers.
S. Meïté
I. Bennacer
72' Milan have made a double substitution now, with Bennacer the first to come off and he is replaced by Meite.
70' In 2021, Milan have picked up 26 points in 15 Serie A matches (18 of these coming away from home) – five sides have gained more points in this period.
68' Donnarumma is receiving some treatment on the pitch now following the Parma goal, after the keeper collided with Gagliolo and seems to have an issue. However, he should be fine to continue.
G. Pellè
66' Pelle did brilliantly to head the ball back across goal for his team-mate to finish, as he could have gone for it himself, but the angle was very tight.
R. Gagliolo
66' GOAL! Parma have pulled one back, it’s 2-1! A long ball comes over the top of the Milan defence and Pelle just manages to get to it in time, heading it back across goal towards Gagliolo, who slides in and just gets to it ahead of Donnarumma and he pokes it into the back of the net. Game on!
65' Milan may have to sit deep and try and hold their two-goal lead for as long as possible now, they only have 10 men on the pitch, so may not be able to threaten at the other end.
J. Kucka
Yellow Card
63' Another Parma player in the book now, with Kucka the latest to be shown a yellow card after his foul on Hernandez.
A. Grassi
61' Another Parma substitution now, with Hernani coming off the pitch and he has been replaced by Grassi.
Z. Ibrahimović
Red Card
60' RED CARD! Ibrahimovic has been shown a straight red card and he is sent off! Milan are down to 10 men for the remaining half an hour. It looks like a Ibrahimovic has reacted badly to a free-kick being awarded, after Gagliolo fouls Calhanoglu and the striker has said something to the referee. The match official was quick to brandish the red card.
58' Hernani has a good opportunity to whip a free-kick into the box and create something, but his delivery is poor and flies straight out of play. Wasted opportunity.
57' Free-kick to Parma in a good shooting position after Kessie catches Cornelius late on the edge of the box. Can they work something from this?
55' The hosts are pressing a bit higher up the pitch in this second half, which is stretching the game as Milan can counter forward quickly if they can get the ball through the Parma midfield.
53' Milan have dropped the fewest points from winning positions in Serie A this season (two), while only Torino (25) have lost more than Parma (21) from leading situations.
51' CHANCE! Donnarumma is called into action for the first time to deny Parma! The keeper has to palm away a cross into the box, but it then falls straight to the feet of Pelle on the edge of the six yard box and Donnarumma races towards him, superbly blocking the shot. That's the first opportunity Parma have had today.
50' SAVE! Ibrahimovic plays a quick one-two with Kessie deep inside the Parma half and the striker receives the ball back in the box and fires a low shot at goal from a tight angle. However, it is too close to Sepe, who makes a good save.
48' The second half has started how the first ended, with Milan on top and dominating possession, just easing their way back into the game.
46' The second half is under way!
A. Cornelius
Y. Gervinho
46' Parma have made a change ahead of the second half, with Gervinho replaced by Cornelius.
Parma are yet to test Donnarumma, with very little possession as they've had to defend for much of the game, soaking up the Milan pressure. It looks like Milan will be taking all three points away, unless Parma can pull off a spectacular comeback.
Milan lead 2-0 at the break, after an early strike from Rebic and then a goal just before half-time from Kessie. The visitors have dominated the opening half, with Kessie going close earlier on, but his long range effort was denied by Sepe. However, they soon found their way and hold a comfortable advantage ahead of the second half.
T. Hernández
44' Hernandez cut inside from the left wing and Milan's quick play opened up the Parma defence, allowing the left-back to spot the run of Kessie, who just managed to stay onside.
F. Kessié
44' GOAL! Milan double their lead just before the break, it’s 2-0! The visitors work it well, with a few quick, intricate passes on the edge of the box and they open up the Parma defence, with Hernandez sliding the ball through to Kessie just inside the penalty area and the midfielder had time and space to slot it into the bottom left corner of the net.
42' There’s not long left to play before the end of the first half, can Milan double their lead before the half-time whistle? Or, will Parma be able to get an equaliser?
40' Milan have won 14 of their last 16 Serie A away games: drawing the other 2-2 v Genoa in December 2020 and losing 0-2 v Spezia in February 2021.
R. Gagliolo
Yellow Card
38' Saelemaekers is brought down once again down the right, but this time by Gagliolo and he is also booked.
38' Not too far away! Ibrahimovic rises highest as a free-kick is whipped into the box from the right wing, getting above his marker and he powers a header towards goal. However, he gets too much on it and it flies over the crossbar.
G. Pezzella
Yellow Card
37' Pezzella is booked for his challenge on Saelemaekers deep inside his own half and Milan now have a good opportunity from a set piece.
36' Good ball! Calhanoglu does well down the left wing, he gets into the final third and then drills a low cross into the box, hoping a team-mate will gamble on it. However, no-one is on his wavelength and it comes to nothing.
34' We're almost at a walking pace at the moment, with Milan looking very content, keeping the ball easily in the middle of the pitch and there is no urgency from either side to push forward and create something.
32' Pelle has hardly touched the ball for Parma so far, the striker has been very isolated up top for the hosts, with Gervinho dropping deep to help with the defending.
30' It looks like Parma might try and catch Milan out on the counter as they aren't having any luck through the middle. Despite looking comfortable, the visitors need to stay on their toes.
28' No more chances to speak of for either side just yet, Milan remain 1-0 ahead as we approach the half an hour mark and they look good value for their lead, with Parma not threatening.
26' After the 2-2 draw in the reverse match, Milan and Parma could draw both matches in a single Serie A campaign for the first time since 2007/08.
H. Çalhanoğlu
Yellow Card
24' Calhanoglu is the first Milan player to be booked after his stamp on Kurtic, after the midfielder just got to the ball first and flicked it away from him.
22' Kalulu does well to deal with a deep cross into the box from the right wing and Pezzella was lurking directly behind him, so he had to clear the danger.
20' Ibrahimovic has been heavily involved in everything in attack for Milan so far, dropping deep to get on the ball and making himself available in the final third. The visitors look content with their 1-0 lead at the moment.
18' The pace of the game has dropped slightly in the last few minutes, with Milan looking fairly comfortable and Parma are still yet to test Donnarumma at all at the other end of the pitch.
16' Blocked! Milan counter quickly and the ball is worked to Ibrahimovic, who fakes to shoot one way and then goes another. However, his low strike is well blocked by Bani.
14' Parma are enjoying a little bit of possession of their own now, their first spell of the game. However, Milan manage to clear a deep cross into the box and limit their time in the final third.
12' Parma's last win against Milan in Serie A was back in March 2014 (4-2) – since then, there’s been five Rossoneri wins and two draws.
M. Bani
Yellow Card
10' The first yellow card of the game is shown to Bani after he handles the ball deep inside his own half. Luckily, the Milan free-kick doesn't come to anything as Ibrahimovic is unable to get on the end of it.
Z. Ibrahimović
8' Ibrahimovic had so much time and space to control the ball after a quick move forward and then find Rebic just inside the box and he produced a superb finish.
A. Rebić
8' GOAL! Rebic fires Milan into the lead and makes it 1-0! They work it up the pitch quickly and Ibrahimovic did well on the edge of the box, finding Rebic in space and he feeds him perfectly. The winger produced a quick turn and then powered the ball into the top right corner of the net, giving Sepe no chance of saving it.
6' CLOSE! Kessie latches onto the end of a flick on from a throw in and races towards the edge of the penalty area, before unleashing a powerful effort towards goal. It looks to be flying into the back of the net. However, Sepe pulls off a brilliant save, tipping it over the crossbar.
4' Gervinho races in behind the Milan defence and the offside flag doesn't go up straight away and it appears that he is through on goal. However, after a slight delay, the flag goes up and play is halted.
3' The visitors are enjoying the early possession here, just keeping it nicely in the middle of the pitch, with Ibrahimovic dropping deep to get his first few touches on the ball.
1' We're under way!
The teams are out on the pitch and kick off is just a few minutes away, stay tuned for all the match action!
