Commentary

Thanks for joining us for live coverage of Leicester City's 4-2 win over Watford in the Premier League.
That three points for the hosts means that they move up to the top half and into ninth. They travel to Southampton next as they look to continue the momentum from this win. For the visitors meanwhile, they remain 16th and face Chelsea at home next before they host Manchester City after that.
So the game finishes as the hosts run out 4-2 winners in tricky conditions. They took an early lead after a mix-up in the visitors' defence allowed Maddison to fire his team in front. The Hornets were back level though in the 30th minute as Dennis won a penalty before King made no mistake from the spot. Watford being level only lasted four minutes as Maddison played in Vardy, who sent a lovely dink over Bachmann to restore his side's advantage. Maddison and Vardy combined again to make it 3-1 before the break, with the former sending a corner over allowing the veteran striker to flick a header into the far corner. As conditions worsened in the second half, Dennis dispossessed Castagne before chipping a lovely finish over the onrushing Schmeichel. The two goal advantage was quickly restored though, as Barnes crossed to Lookman to finish to seal a big three points for the Foxes as they end a run of two straight Premier League home defeats.

90' + 4' Leicester have a free-kick in their own territory and are nearly there for a big three points.
90' + 2' Thomas does well to turn a dangerous Sissoko cross behind for a corner, which then comes to nothing.
90' The referee has added on seven minutes at the end of this match.
89' Vardy nearly has his hat-trick as he cuts onto his right foot before firing at goal from outside the box. Bachmann does enough to get to his left and tip it wide.
K. Dewsbury-Hall
J. Maddison
Leicester City
88' Dewsbury-Hall is on for the final couple of minutes in place of Maddison.
86' Ndidi hammers an effort from distance straight in Soyuncu's face. The Turkish defender is down receiving treatment after that.
84' Vardy has now scored five in his last four Premier League home games against Watford. The previous three had all come from penalties.
82' So close for Watford! Tufan gets on the end of a Femenia cross but can only poke an effort with his toe just wide.
80' With Dennis' goal, he has become only the sixth player in Premier League history to register five goals and five assists in his first 12 Premier League games, joining the likes of Eric Cantona, Arjen Robben and Bruno Fernandes.
78' Troost-Ekong plays a brave ball back to Bachmann but luckily for him, the keeper is alert to rush out and clear it before Vardy can intercept it.
77' Fletcher tries to curl an effort from the left corner of the box but it ends up going well over Schmeichel's goal.
M. Albrighton
A. Lookman
Leicester City
75' Rodgers sends on Albrighton for Lookman.

65' The game is now back underway as Leicester kick us off once more.
63' There is a brief break in play as ground staff come onto the pitch to sweep snow off the lines.
E. Dennis
Goal
Watford
61' Watford have a goal back! Castagne is caught in possession by Dennis before the forward strides towards goal and chips over Schmeichel. The Foxes think that Dennis fouled Castagne, however after a VAR check the goal is awarded. The score is now 3-2 to Leicester.
60' Pedro shifts onto his right foot and sends a shot towards the far corner. Unluckily for him, it goes agonisingly just wide.
59' Maddison has another shot from the edge of the box, but Bachmann does well to get down to it and gather.

53' Ndidi shoots from distance but Cathcart does well to get out quickly to block it.
51' Watford have certainly had the better of the opening moments of this second half.
49' Hernandez outmuscles Castagne and takes the ball into the box before laying it right to King. It looks as if he can't miss, but Schmeichel is out quickly to deny him.
47' The snow is really coming down now. Will the goalkeepers and defences be able to deal with these testing conditions?
46' The visitors get us back underway for the second period.
João Pedro
I. Louza
Watford
46' Pedro also replaces Louza ahead of the second-half.
O. Tufan
T. Cleverley
Watford
46' Tufan is on for Cleverley at the break.
The Hornets certainly had their moments in that half and can probably count themselves unlucky to be facing a two goal deficit at half-time. Ranieri is back facing the club where he won a famous Premier League title. Will he be able to conjure up some of that magic in the second half and pull off a comeback against his former side?
After an exciting first half, Leicester take a 3-1 lead into the break. They took an early lead with an absolute gift as Troost-Ekong let a seemingly innocuous Evans through ball go over his head, where Maddison was waiting to smash his side into an early advantage. The visitors had a very positive response though and could've equalised on a couple of occasions before they finally did in the 30th minute, after referee Andy Madley awarded them a penalty when Ndidi brought down Dennis in the box. King stepped up and smashed home a brilliant penalty to level the scores. That only lasted four minutes though, as Vardy got on the end of a smart through ball by Maddison before dinking a finish over the keeper Bachmann. The Foxes then got a third in the 42nd minute as Vardy got his second of the game, flicking a Maddison corner into the far corner to consolidate his team's lead.

J. King
Penalty Goal
Watford

22' Hernandez sends the free-kick straight into the wall. They claim for a handball but nothing is awarded.

J. Maddison
Goal
Leicester City
16' It's 1-0 to the hosts!!! It's Maddison who puts his team into the lead after a howler from Troost-Ekong. The centre-back lets a long ball go over his head as he thinks it will go all the way back to Bachmann, but Maddison anticipates it and takes a touch before lashing it into the far corner.
13' Bachmann is out quick to clear a lofted through ball as Vardy looked to latch onto it.
11' Troost-Ekong heads over from a wide free-kick. He probably should have done better there as he found himself in acres of space.
9' Dennis sends a deflected effort over from the edge of the box after Sissoko laid it off to him.

5' The visitors have their first attack of the game and Evans and Schmeichel leave the ball to each other but luckily for them King can't reach it before Evans finally hacks it away.
3' Bachmann is forced into an early save by Vardy from a tight angle as the hosts look to have a positive start.
1' The home side kick us off and we are underway.
The two teams make their way onto the pitch ahead of kick-off.
Visiting boss Claudio Ranieri opts to go with three alterations as Bachmann starts in goal ahead of Foster while Troost-Ekong and Hernandez also come in.
Home manager Brendan Rodgers makes two changes as Thomas and Maddison start in place of Amartey and Albrighton as there is a switch in formation to four at the back.
