Arsenal produce an impressive performance to defeat Leicester City 2-0 in their Premier League clash at the King Power Stadium. Gabriel Magalhaes headed the Gunners in front from Bukayo Saka's corner before Emile Smith Rowe extended their advantage with a blast from close range. Aaron Ramsdale kept the Foxes at bay with a string of fine saves, including an incredible double stop to deny James Maddison and Jonny Evans. Mikel Arteta's men maintain their recent run of good form to move into fifth place in the table.

Arsenal enjoyed a strong start to the contest and rocked the home side with their intensity. Leicester have been resilient in recent weeks and can score a glut of goals when required, Brendan Rodgers will need a similar effort in the second half.

43' WHAT A SAVE!!! Ramsdale produces a save of the season candidate. The Arsenal keeper somehow tips Maddison's free-kick that is destined for the top-right corner on to the bar. Evans reacts to the rebound and scoops an effort towards goal, only to be denied by the post and the leg of Ramsdale.
41' White catches Maddison on the edge of the box with an outstretched arm and gives away a free-kick in a dangerous position.
39' SAVE! Tielemans latches on to a loose ball and goes for a strike at goal from 25 yards, but he sees his effort comfortably saved by Ramsdale.

The forward pulls the trigger on a left-footed strike that appears destined for the left corner, but Ramsdale stretches to tip it past the post.

24' Smith Rowe has scored his fourth goal of the season in all competitions - all of which have come in his last seven appearances - and the same number as he managed in 33 games last season.

Saka and Lacazette provide pressure on the Leicester defence with driving runs into the box. The Foxes fail to clear the danger before Smith Rowe pounces on the loose ball. He takes on his effort first time, drilling his right-footed strike past Schmeichel.
16' Nuno Tavares breaks through the Leicester midfield with ease before he feeds Lacazette. The forward tries to pick out Aubameyang at the back post, but Evans makes the interception before Thomas clears behind.
14' Lokonga lines up an ambitious drive from distance, but his effort is deflected behind for a corner. Saka looks for Gabriel once again with his cross, but the Foxes clear on this occasion.
13' BLOCK! Maddison drills his free-kick straight into the wall and his attempt to clip a ball over the top for Vardy ends in the hands of Ramsdale.
12' Maddison goes down on the edge of the Arsenal box under pressure from White. The Foxes have a free-kick in a dangerous position.
