Real Madrid, the most successful club in the history of the UEFA Champions League, have won the title a record 13 times.

Los Blancos won their 10th and the historic La Decima title in the 2013/14 season after a gap of 12 years beating their city rivals Atletico Madrid 4-1 in the final.

Diego Simeone's side took the lead in the 36th minute of the match and were in front until the 93rd minute when Sergio Ramos equalised for Real Madrid and took the match to extra time.

In the next 30 minutes, Real scored three more goals courtesy of strikes from Gareth Bale, Marcelo and Cristiano Ronaldo to seal a memorable title win.
