Nigerian striker Ranti Martins is the highest goal scorer among players who have represented Indian clubs in the AFC Cup followed by Bengaluru FC skipper Suni Chhetri.

Other than Chhetri, Jeje Lalpekhlua is the only other Indian player to feature among the top goal scorers in the tournament.

    #1 Ranti Martins - 22 goals

    The Nigerian forward has played in six editions of the AFC Cup, five times for Dempo Sports Club (2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2011) and once donning the East Bengal's jersey (2015). Ranti Martins has scored 22 goals and is the highest goal scorer among players from Indian clubs in the AFC Cup.
  • Sunil Chhetri Bengaluru FC Istiklol FC AFC Cup Final 2017

    #2 Sunil Chhetri - 18 goals

    Sunil Chhetri has played in six editions of the AFC Cup. He made his AFC Cup debut with Churchill Brothers in 2013 where he scored two goals. For Bengaluru FC, he has pled in five editions (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020). He had scored a total of 18 goals. His most successful season was in 2016 when he had netted five times as the Blues had reached the final of the competition.

    Jeje Lalpekhlua is the second-highest Indian goal scorer in the history of the AFC Cup after Sunil Chhetri. The Mizo Sniper has played in three editions of the competition for Mohun Bagan (2016, 2017) and Chennaiyin FC (2019) and scored 12 goals.

    Brazilian attacking midfielder Roberto Mendes Silva or Beto as he was popularly known as played in four editions of the AFC Cup representing. He has 12 goals against his name in the AFC Cup. He was one of the key architects in Dempo's successful season in 2008 where they had become the first Indian club to reach the semifinal of the tournament.

    #5 Edeh Chidi - 9 goals

    Nigerian striker Edeh Chidi has played in only two editions of the AFC Cup, once with Dempo in 2008 and once with East Bengal in 2013. He has scored a total of nine goals in the tournament, out of which six came in 2013 where the Red and Golds had reached the semifinal. He was also the first player to score a hat-trick in AFC Cup representing an Indian club that came against Yangon United in a round of 16 clash in 2013.
