The all-time great Brazilian forward is one of the most decorated footballers in the history of the game.
Pele won three World Cup titles with Brazil, (1958, 1962 and 1970) a record that has, to date, remained unmatched. He is also the youngest player to win a World Cup at the age of 17 years and 249 days in 1958.
In his final appearance in the competition, Pele guided Brazil to a record third World Cup title in 1970 where they beat Italy 4-1 in the final. He had provided two assists and scored a goal in the final game.
