A club legend, Petr Cech joined Chelsea from Rennes in 2004 and spent 11 seasons at the club. In 2015, he left the Blues to join their city rivals Arsenal where he spent four seasons. He retired from professional football in 2019. After retirement, Cech returned to his former club Chelsea as their technical and performance advisor. In October 2019 the goalkeeper also tried his hands in Ice Hockey as he joined National Ice Hockey League Division 2 side Guildford Phoenix as a goaltender.

The French defender joined Chelsea from Marseille in 2001 and played for five seasons. In 2006 he left the Blues to join their city rivals Arsenal. Thereafter he played for Tottenham Hotspur for three seasons. He retired from professional football in 2014 after spending a season at A-League side Perth Glory.

William Gallas - CB

The defender joined Chelsea from Porto in 2004 and spent six seasons at the club. After leaving Chelsea, Carvalho spent three seasons at Real Madrid, three seasons at AS Monaco and finally retired from professional football in 2017 after spending a year in Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG. Post-retirement, in 2019, he joined&nbsp;Ligue 1 side Marseille as assistant manager and worked under Andre Villas Boas.

Ricardo Carvalho - CB

The Chelsea and English football legend was promoted to the senior team of the Blues from their academy in 1998 and since then remained at the club for the next 19 years of his career. In between, he was sent on loan in 2000 to Nottingham Forest. After leaving Chelsea, Terry joined then Championship side Aston Villa in 2017 and spent a season at the club before retiring from professional football. Since 2018, Terry worked as assistant manager at Aston Villa before leaving the club before the start of the 2021-22 season.

John Terry - CB

The Cameroonian midfielder, who could play as a right full-back as well, joined Chelsea from Real Madrid in 2003 and spent four seasons at the club. He later played for Newcastle United, Turkish top tier club Ankaragucu and Greek side AEL. He retired from professional football in 2011.

Geremi - RWB

The Czech Republic international midfielder joined Chelsea from CSKA Moscow in January 2005 and spent only six months at the club. Ahead of the 2005-06 season, Jiri Jaorsik was sent on loan to Birmingham City. He later played for clubs like Celtic, Real Zaragoza, Sparta Prague and Alaves. He retired in 2015. Since 2017 Jarosik took up coaching and managed clubs in Slovenia and Czech Republic. In 2021, he joined Czech top-tier side FK Teplice as their head coach.

Jiri Jarosik - LWB

The Frenchman joined Chelsea from Real Madrid in 2003 and spent five seasons at the club. After leaving the Blues he played for PSG for three seasons before retiring from professional football in 2011. After retirement, he took up coaching roles. Makelele worked as assistant managers at PSG and Swansea City and served Monaco as their technical director. He also managed Ligue 2 side Bastia and Belgian top-tier side Eupen. He currently serves Chelsea as their technical mentor.

Claude Makelele - DM

The Portuguese midfielder joined Chelsea from Benfica in 2004 and spent a season at the club before heading to Lyon. Other than the Blues, he also played for clubs like Juventus and Atletico Madrid. Tiago retired from professional football in 2017. After retirement, he worked as an assistant manager at Atletico Madrid during the 2017-18 season. In July 2020, he joined Portuguese top-flight club&nbsp;Vitoria de Guimaraes on a two-year contract as their head coach but left the job in October 2020.

The legendary midfielder joined Chelsea in 2001 from West Ham United and stayed at the club for 13 seasons. After leaving the club in the summer of 2014, Lampard signed a two-year contract with MLS side New York City FC. As the football season in the US did not start until January 2015, Lampard joined Manchester City on a short-term deal at the beginning of the 2014/15 season. He retired from football in 2016. After retirement, Lampard joined Championship side Derby County in 2018 as their head coach. In 2019, he returned to Chelsea as the club's manager. In January 2021, Lampard parted ways with the Blues as Thomas Tuchel replaced him at the helm.

Frank Lampard - AM

Another certified Chelsea legend, Didier Drogba joined the club in 2004 from Marseille and played until 2012. After that, he went to the Chinese Super League played for Shanghai Shenhua before joining Turkish giants Galatasaray. In 2014, Drogba returned to Chelsea and played for one season. He last played for US second division club Phoenix Rising before retiring in 2018.

The former Iceland international played at Chelsea for six seasons, from 2000 to 2006. Later he played for clubs like FC Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur and AS Monaco. In 2016, he had joined Indan&nbsp;Super League (ISL) club FC Pune City but he was ruled out of action due to an injury even before the season started. He retired from professional football in 2017.In 2019,&nbsp; Gudjohnsen&nbsp;was hired as the assistant manager for the Iceland national under-21 football team under newly appointed manager Arnar Viðarsson. On 16 July 2020, he took over as manager of Icelandic top-tier side FH, along with Logi Ólafsson. After initially signing a contract extension with FH for the 2021 season, he left the team in December 2020 to take&nbsp;over as an assistant manager of the Iceland men's national team.

Eidur Gudjohnsen - FW

A Chelsea youth product, Robert Huth was promoted to the Blues' senior side in 2002 and spent four seasons at the club. He later played for Middlesbrough, Stoke City and Leicester City. The German was a part of Leicester City's historic Premier League winning team of the 2015/16 season. He retired from professional football in 2019.

After leaving Chelsea, he played for clubs like Liverpool, West Ham United and Aston Villa. From 2016 to 2018, he played for MLS side Tampa Bay Rowdies after which he retired from professional football. After retirement, he was immediately appointed as the assistant manager at Tampa Bay.
