The 33-year-old stated of his intent to feature for the Serie A champions for the start of the season, though could also be handed his first outing during their customary friendly against their youth team in Villar Perosa (which serves as the home of Juventus president Andrea Agnelli's family) on August 12.
He is expected to make his Serie A debut for Juventus when the Italian domestic season starts on the weekend of August 19, with the reigning Serie A champions drawn away to Chievo in the opening fixture.
