WATCH: Schneiderlin scores stunner for Everton

Less than 24 hours after leaving Manchester United, where he had not played since November, the France international immediately proved his worth

Morgan Schneiderlin is not messing around. The midfielder left Manchester United just 24 hours ago but is already proving his worth to new club Everton.

After arriving at Old Trafford 18 months ago, the France international failed to replicate his performances for Southampton and Jose Mourinho has shipped him out.

Schneiderlin looks in good shape despite the limited playing time of late and found the top corner from distance in his first training session with the Toffees.

The 27-year-old is in line to make his debut for Everton against Manchester City on Sunday

Upon signing, Schneiderlin told reporters: "I wanted to go to an ambitious club, who could meet my expectations, especially in terms of playing time, because I wanted to get on the pitch

"It's a big Premier League club and the coach has great ambitions to bring them to the top six or even in the top five. It is interesting to me."
