‘Wasn't even a battle’ – Nigerians react to Pinnick’s re-election as NFF president

The incumbent president of the Nigerian football body made history on Thursday following his victory for another term in office

Nigerian footballing community on social media have reacted to Amaju Pinnick's triumph at the Nigeria Football Federation Presidential election held in Kastina.

Pinnick becomes the first person to win a second consecutive four-year term as President of the NFF after seeing off competition from Aminu Maigari, Taiwo Ogunjobi and Chinedu Okoye with 34 votes from a total of 44.

The 45-year-old will remain in office until 2022 and below is how Nigerians reacted to the win.
