Thika United want to redeem themselves with a win against Kariobangi Sharks on Wednesday

Thika United head coach James Nandwa is optimistic that his charges will bounce back against Kariobangi Sharks in a Kenyan Premier League match set for Wednesday.

The milkmen suffered a 2-1 defeat against AFC Leopards on Sunday, making it two defeats in as many games. Nandwa admits there is pressure within his team but he has faith in his charges.

"Kariobangi Sharks are a good side with good organization, and they are also targeting a win to move up on the table. So it is going to be a tough match, however we cannot afford to lose another match because that will put us at a bad position. We are not going there with a bad mentality, we respect them but we have to get a win.

"They have good players and that makes their team even more dangerous when taken lightly," he told Goal.

Thika United have won just two of their six matches, losing the remaining four and are currently at position 14 on the table.
