Mark Hughes' side have added a sixth signing to their ranks this summer to provide more depth - and top-flight fans with a fun factoid

Stoke City can now boast that they are the Premier League club with the most Champions League winners following Jese Rodriguez's loan move from Paris Saint-Germain.

The forward, who has struggled for playing time – and goals – at Parc des Princes was announced as having signed a season-long deal with the Potters on Wednesday morning.

Stoke City 11/4 to be top Midlands club

PSG boss Unai Emery allowed the 24-year-old to go on loan to hometown club Las Palmas in January 2017 to try to rediscover the form that earned him plaudits as he came up through the ranks at Real Madrid, picking up two European titles along the way.

Jese joins fellow Champions League winners Darren Fletcher (Manchester United), Bojan Krkic (Barcelona), Xherdan Shaqiri (Bayern Munich) and Ibrahim Afellay (Barcelona) to see Stoke become England's top flight side with the most UCL winners with a total of five.

Chelsea follow Mark Hughes' side in the leaderboard with four, while Manchester City have three, Manchester United have two, while Arsenal and Liverpool boast only one each.

Both Jese and Hughes will hope the forward hits scoring form in swift fashion, with the former looking to provide a much-needed boost to his career, while the latter lost the goal threat of Marko Arnautovic to West Ham earlier this summer.
