Yanga's veteran forward, Amis Tambwe will miss Sunday's Federation Cup clash against Singida United due to lack of match fitness.
Tambwe who was sidelined for a long spell due to a knee injury, resumed full training this week but he is still not fit to enough to lead the line in the Singida United clash.
Speaking to Goal, Yanga head coach George Lwandamina said that it is true that Tambwe is training with the rest of the squad but he still needs more time to regain his match fitness.
“Tambwe has trained with us this week, but there is no chance of him coming back directly in to action because he lacks match fitness,” said Lwandamina.
However, Lwandamina has revealed he is pleased with the progress of Zimbabweans, Donald Ngoma and Thaban Kamusoko who were both sidelined for long spells.
Kamusoko has already featured in the past two games while Ngoma is still waiting to make a return for the first time since October last year.
