Simba's acting president Salim Abdallah “Try Again” has claimed that they are eager to win the Ligi Kuu trophy this season.

Wekundu wa Msimbazi are unbeaten in the last 20 games and lead the table with 46 points ahead of Yanga on goal difference.

Speaking to Goal, Abdallah said that winning the trophy this season was there first priority since the beginning and they have prepared themselves well to do so.

“Our first priority is to win the title and we have a plan in place to do so, all the players and technical bench know about that,” said Abdallah.

Last week, Simba was knocked out of the CAF Confederation Cup by Egypt’s Al Masry. Following the exit all players and technical bench were given a few days break and according to reports they will resume training on Saturday evening.
