Tanzania (Taifa Stars) skipper Mbwana Samatta has revealed that all players are ready for their two friendly games against Algeria and DRC Congo.
Taifa Stars is set to play away against Algeria on March 22 and at home against DRC Congo five days later.
Stars who are currently managed by Salum Mayanga and ranked 146th globally by the FIFA Rankings will hope to use the two friendlies as part of their preparations for the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Uganda, Lesotho and Cape Verde.
Speaking to Goal, Samatta who plays for Belgium side KRC Genk said that those two games will be tough but it will be good preparation ahead of the AFCON qualifiers.
“We are going to face strong teams and the games will be very tough but it will be a nice preparation four us ahead of the AFCON qualifiers,” said Samatta.
