Gor Mahia coach Dylan Kerr has left for the UK with only two months before the new season kicks-off.

Kerr, who has won two league title since joining K’Ogalo, has told Goal that he already misses Kenya because ‘it is my second home.’ His departure comes just a day after Kenyan Premier League released fixtures for the new 2018/19 season.

Gor Mahia will start their title campaign with an away match against Bandari at Mbaraki Stadium on December 8. However, K'Ogalo will also play in the season curtain raiser, with the FKF Shield Cup winner between Kariobangi Sharks and Sofapaka on December 2.

“I miss Nairobi already because it is my second home but I have to go as I have to watch two matches, Hull City against Preston and then Everton v Crystal Palace.”

Kerr is also expected to lead Gor Mahia when they take on Everton in a friendly away at Goodison Park. On the friendly, he said, “I already have my squad and they will meet me in the UK.”

Gor Mahia will represent the country in Caf Champions League next season.
