United States underage international Brooks Lennon is due to leave Anfield for a season-long loan at Real Salt Lake

Liverpool striker Brooks Lennon is set to join Major League Soccer side Real Salt Lake on loan, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Lennon is a United States Under-20 international, and will return to America for the duration of the 2017 MLS season.

So far, the 19-year-old has only featured for Liverpool's underage sides up to U-23 level, but Jurgen Klopp is hoping the forward will gain first team experience with Real Salt Lake before returning to Anfield.
