The 2018 Champions League winners have been strong defensively in recent games and we are backing them to record another clean sheet on matchday four

Real Madrid welcome Galatasaray to the Bernabeu on matchday four of the Champions League with Zinedine Zidane's side looking for another win against the Turkish side.

Los Blancos triumphed 1-0 in Istanbul two weeks and need another victory to consolidate second place in Group A.

Latest odds

Galatasaray have not won any of their last 15 away games in the Champions League, failing to score in nine of those matches.

Their last visit to the Bernabeu in 2013 saw them beaten 3-0 and Sportsbet price a shock win for Fatih Terim's men at 14.00.

A victory for the hosts is offered at 1.17 with the draw at 7.00.

Real Madrid vs Galatasaray Team News

Gareth Bale has not played since 5th October and it remains to be seen whether he recovers from the knock that has been keeping him out.

Marco Asensio and Nacho Fernandez remain long-term absentees for Madrid.

Galatasaray have been without big summer signing Radamel Falcao for five weeks after the Colombian picked up an achilles injury against Paris Saint-Germain.

Real Madrid vs Galatasaray Preview

Two weeks ago Zidane's side put in a solid performance in Turkey to claim a much needed win and in truth the margin of victory should have been much greater.

Only some wayward finishing kept the scoreline respectable, while at the other end Thibaut Courtois produced a couple of strong saves to record a clean sheet.

Galatasaray's away record in European competition is poor and in the Champions League they have failed to score in each of their last five matches on the road.

Madrid for their part have kept three consecutive clean sheets and will feel pretty confident of keeping out the visitors on Wednesday evening.

Tips and predictions

The 13-time European champions won without conceding in Istanbul on matchday three and the price of 2.10 for them to do so in front of their own fans is surely worthy of consideration.
