Pulisic's Tottenham and Liverpool rumors are 'hogwash' - USMNT star's father dismisses Premier League links

The American forward intends to discuss his future with Borussia Dortmund and is likely to stay playing for the Bundesliga club next season

Christian Pulisic's father his dismissed rumors linking him with Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester United as "hogwash."

The U.S. international has been repeatedly linked with a big-money move to the Premier League following his breakout season for Borussia Dortmund in 2016-17.

His form dipped slightly in 2017-18 as Dortmund failed to find consistency following the departure of Thomas Tuchel, but despite inconsistent performances, Pulisic remains one of the most in-demand players in European football.

The latest transfer rumors have indicated that Spurs would be interested in bringing the American forward to England, but the 19-year-old's father says that the stories have no substance.

"He was linked to Tottenham. Last week it was Liverpool. The week before Man United. The week before this… it's hogwash," Mark Pulisic told Sky Sports.

"He's linked with a different club every week. I have no idea. His agent right now is working and looking, in close relation with me and Christian, and we're just trying to see what the best phase of his next development will be.

"Now is the time that the season has just ended that we'll sit down with Dortmund, we'll sit down with, I don't know whether others clubs are in the mix, [and see what] Dortmund's idea is and their plans for Christian.

"But there's nothing concrete. Right now, Christian plays for Dortmund and that's where he is planning on playing again next year."

Pulisic played his 21st senior international game on Monday as the USA defeated Bolivia 3-0 in a friendly in Chester, Pennsylvania, but was allowed to leave the squad before their upcoming friendlies with the Republic of Ireland and France in Europe.
