The attacking midfielder becomes the second player after Ayanda Gcaba to join Dikwena on loan from the Buccaneers ahead of the closing of the PSL transfer window on Wednesday night.
Gcaba, who was reportedly unsettled at Bucs due to a lack of game time, joined Stars on a six-month loan deal on Monday.
"Orlando Pirates Football Club has agreed terms with Platinum Stars for the loan of midfielder Riyaad Norodien for the rest of the season," a statement read on the official Twitter account on Wednesday.
Norodien found it difficult to command a regular place in the Bucs starting line-up under Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic, who was appointed head coach prior to the start of the current 2017/18 campaign.
Thembinkosi Lorch, Thabo Qalinge and Luvuyo Memela have all been preferred ahead of Norodien, who joined the Soweto giants from Ajax Cape Town in July, 2016.
The 22-year-old winger has also struggled with injuries since his arrival at the Houghton-based side. He missed the start of the current campaign due to an injury which he picked up in the off season.
The Cape Town-born player has reunited with coach Roger de Sa at Stars. Norodien was part of the Ajax team that De Sa guided to the MTN8 Cup triumph during the 2015/16 season.
Former Pirates coach De Sa will be hoping that Norodien and Gcaba can help relegation-threatened Stars retain their status in the top flight.
Pirates announced Norodien's departure on their offical Twitter account.
