Niger Tornadoes coach Abubakar Bala has predicted a tough contest for his side against Nasarawa United in a Week 12 encounter at the Confluence Stadium.
Following Ikon Allah's 1-0 defeat against Abia Warriors in Umuahia, the handler is hoping they return to winning ways with a victory against the Solid Miners on Sunday.
"It is going to be a tough and highly tactical match. They have a lot of experience players in the team," Bala told Goal.
"They also have a very good coach - a young man who loves good football and we both believe in the same philosophy.
"We have told the players to put the defeat behind them. But they must work hard on their loss of concentration and generally work hard to ensure we get our three points."
The trainer had blamed his side's narrow defeat against the Uchendo Warriors last Wednesday for the loss of concentration and several missed chances.
"Our target was to get at least a point. And we worked hard on getting the point, especially playing a very good football and making sure we take the game to them,'' he continued.
"We were able to create several chances but couldn't make good use of it. Our defenders were taken unaware and failed to react quickly.
"We could have scored two goals before the home team got their goal from the penalty. It was a very good game and my players played very well."
Niger Tornadoes are currently seventh on the log with 15 points from 11 games.
