Salah scoops Liverpool’s Goal of the Month award

Mohamed Salah has won Liverpool’s Goal of the Month award for August after his astonishing solo strike in the 4-0 rout of Arsenal.

The 25-year-old winger made it 3-0 for the Reds against Arsenal after beating last man Hector Bellerin on the half way line to show a clean pair of heels on his way to dispatch one past an helpless Petr Cech.

The former Chelsea man saw off competitions from Emre Can and Trent Alexander-Arnold to clinch a double for the month of August.

Salah who joined the Jurgen Klopp’s side this summer, had been named the club’s Player of the Month for August having scored three goals In five appearances across all competitions this campaign.
