Mathare United have confirmed their third signing of the season following the acquisition of James Kinyanjui.
Kinyanjui became the third signing this transfer window after the ‘Slum Boys’ also brought on board Kevin Kimani and Arnold Onyango.
Kimani re-joined Mathare United on a two-year deal after he was released by Sofapaka while Onyango is a former Laiser Hill Academy alumnus. He is expected to provide more options in central midfield alongside Roy Okal and Francis Omondi.
Kimani, meanwhile, returns for his second stint at the club having won the Kenyan Premier League Player of the Year gong in 2011.
A gifted ball player, Kinyanjui, who is expected to add depth in Francis Kimanzi attack, penned a three-year deal from Thika United.
