The Porcupine Warriors claimed full points on Wednesday as the league leaders suffered a setback in Berekum

Asante Kotoko were among the happy sides as the Ghana Premier League entered matchday 13 on Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors beat Elmina Sharks to claim three points on resumption of the topflight after a three-week break.

Emmanuel Gyamfi and Sogne Yacouba scored to seal a 2-0 triumph for the Porcupine Warriors, who have consequently moved to sixth on the table.

Elsewhere at the Golden City Park, Latif Salifu and Zakaria Fuseini scored to ensure a 2-1 win for ninth-placed Berekum Chelsea over Medeama. The Yellow and Mauves, who, nonetheless, occupy the first position on the log, netted through Isaac Agyenim Boateng.

Dreams FC, who tie Medeama on points, claimed their seventh win of the season following a 1-0 home victory over newly-promoted Eleven Wonders. Issah Yakubu's 76th minute effort was the difference, effectively sending the new boys to the 13th spot, while Still Believe hold the second position.

Amos Nkrumah and Aikins Asante were on the scoresheet as Ebusua Dwarfs handed fourth-placed Ashanti Gold a 2-0 defeat in Cape Coast.

At the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, Simon Zibo and Tamimu Muntari were on target as visiting Liberty Professionals stunned tenth-spotted Bechem United 2-1. Kofi Agbesimah fetched the Hunters' consolation.

Inter Allies also picked an unlikely away triumph at the Malik Jabir Park courtesy of a lone-goal victory over Wa All Stars. Michael Otou scored from the spot. The Eleven-Is-To-one hold the fifth position while All Stars sit bottom of the table.
