Dan Sserunkuma will not celebrate if he scores against his former club Gor Mahia in a Cecafa Kagame Cup quarter-final clash.
The Ugandan striker, who had two stints with K’Ogalo where he was a darling of many fans, will face his former side when Gor Mahia takes on Ugandan league champions Vipers on Sunday.
The diminutive striker, who won the KPL Golden Boot in 2014, a first for a Ugandan player in the Kenyan league, said that he is harbouring the feeling of meeting his former side.
“It’s a special feeling meeting Gor Mahia," Sserunkuma told reporters.
“Gor Mahia is a team I like because everyone supported me very well during my stay there. I'll be nervous but I’ve to help my team win. And in case I score, I'll not celebrate in respect of the good moments we shared.”
The much-awaited game will take place at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
