United aren't prioritising a new centre-back


Manchester United aren't focusing on signing a new centre-back this summer anymore. 

That's according to the Daily Mail, who claim Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would prefer to spend the proposed £50 million budget on another position.

The Red Devils are now looking to strengthen at right-back and in central midfield instead as they look to push on for next season.

Rennes & Saint-Etienne battle for Moukoudi


Rennes and Saint-Etienne are both vying to sign Le Havre defender Harold Moukoudi, according to Le10Sport. 

Moukoudi, 21, has been in talks with Ligue 2 side Le Havre over a contract extension, but may prefer a jump up to Ligue 1

Smith signs new long-term Man City deal


Welsh midfielder Matt Smith has signed a new long-term contract with Manchester City.

Smith, 19, has impressed this season while on loan at Twente, who are nearing promotion to the Eredivisie one season after being relegated. 

"Matthew was 18 when he arrived, but he plays like a very mature player," Twente's technical director Ted van Leeuwen said. "His impact has been very, very big."

Mathis to leave Everton


Everton will not offer striker Boris Mathis a new contract when his current deal expires at season's end, reports the Liverpool Echo.

The 21-year-old was signed on a free transfer from Metz in the summer of 2017, but he has failed to make an impact at Goodison Park. 

Mathis saw a loan at then-League One side Northampton cut short last year, and has only made one appearance for Everton's under-23 side this season.

Barcelona rule out Griezmann move


The Atletico forward is rumoured to be unsettled one year after signing a new contract

Barcelona have ruled out signing Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann, reports Marca

Griezmann is rumoured to be unsettled at Atletico, less than a year after he rebuffed interest from Barca to re-sign with the Colchoneros. 

But Barca have closed the door on Griezmann and will instead look at younger options, such as Eintracht Frankfurt forward Luka Jovic.

Manchester United in for Saint-Etienne teenager


Manchester United are interested in Saint-Etienne defender William Saliba, according to Le10Sport

Saliba only just turned 18 but has made the breakthrough to Saint-Etienne's senior team this season, having made 13 total appearances for the club. 

Saint-Etienne would demand €30 million (£26/$34m) for Saliba, and would also require him to return to the club next season on loan.

Atletico Madrid looking to sign two Porto stars


Atletico Madrid are looking to sign Porto stars Hector Herrera and Alex Telles this summer, according to Marca

Herrera's contract is set to expire at the end of the season, and the Mexico international midfielder is nearing an agreement to join Atleti on a free transfer. 

Telles, 26, has a release clause of €40 million (£34m/$45m), but Atletico are hoping to negotiate down the left-back's price.

Juventus extend Mandzukic's contract


Juventus have extended striker Mario Mandzukic's contract by one season, according to Gianluca Di Marzio. 

The 32-year-old's previous deal was set to expire at the end of next season, and will now run through the 2020-21 campaign. 

Mandzukic’s salary was increased from €5.5 million to €6.5m net per season.

Boca target Acuna once again


Boca Juniors are back in for Marcos Acuna, according to TYCSports.

The Argentinian club pushed to sign the winger in January, but couldn't meet Sporting CP's asking price.

Acuna is noted as an "obsession" for manager Gustavo Alfaro, who is determined to bring in the World CUp veteran this summer.

‘Bayern must get De Ligt’


Raphael van der Vaart says  Matthijs de Ligt should join Bayern Munich this summer.

The defender is the target of a number of the world's top clubs, but the former Dutch international says de Ligt's focus should be on the German champions.

Impact interested in Colombian inter Borja


The Montreal Impact are interested in adding Colombian forward Miguel Borja, according to Globo.

Palmeiras, Borja's club, is open to a sale as Alexandre Pato remains on the market as a free agent.

The Colombian has 33 goals scored in 99 matches with the club and has earned 10 caps with his national team.

Barcelona keen on Promes


Barcelona are interested in Sevilla winger Quincy Promes, according to El Chiringuito.

Promes only joined Sevilla in August from Spartak Moscow, with the Dutch international signing a five-year contract.

Barca are reportedly keen on Promes due to his versalitily, with the 27-year-old able to play striker, winger and wingback.

Bayern have bid €56m for Jovic


Bayern Munich have already submitted a bid of €56 million (£48m/$63m) for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic, according to Mundo Deportivo. 

Barcelona are also keen on the Serbian, but are also reportedly considering other targets including Maxi Gomez, Andre Silva and Marcus Rashford. 

Bayern are hoping to take advantage of Barca's stalling, but Juventus and Inter are also tracking Jovic's situation closely. 

Arsenal ready to bid €35m for Nkunku


Arsenal are preparing a summer move for PSG midfielder Christopher Nkunku, according to Paris Team.

Nkunku, 21, is reportedly unhappy with his playing time in Paris and is open to finding a new club this summer. 

The Gunners are understood to be ready to bid €35 million (£30m/$39m) for Nkunku, whose contract is set to expire in 2020. 

Man Utd will resist any offers for Pogba


The Old Trafford side are determined to keep hold of the French star

Manchester United are set to reject any offers for Paul Pogba this summer, according to ESPN FC. 

Pogba made headlines last week when he suggested that a move to Real Madrid would be a "dream" for any player.

But United are determined to hold onto the French midfielder, and could offer him an improved contract to keep him at Old Trafford. 

United will sanction another Villa loan for Tuanzebe


Manchester United will allow Axel Tuanzebe to return to Aston Villa on another season-long loan next year, according to The Sun. 

The 21-year-old defender has been with Villa on loan since January 2018, where he has progressed in his development. 

But playing time for the homegrown defender is still unlikely at Old Trafford, meaning United are happy to allow Tuanzebe to join Villa again for the 2019-20 season. 

Mignolet drops Liverpool exit hint


Simon Mignolet is waiting to discover if the exit door at Liverpool will swing open this summer.

Overmars coy on interest in Spurs pair


Ajax director Marc Overmars has refused to reveal whether the Dutch club are looking to bring Tottenham duo Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld back to Amsterdam.

He has told Fox Sports: "We have to be patient and see what the future holds."

The World Cup-winning midfielder continues to be linked with Real Madrid or a return to Juventus, but the Red Devils have no intention of allowing him to move on.

Barca consider Rashford as Suarez replacement


Barcelona have outlined Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford as a potential long-term target to replace Luis Suarez.

At 32, the Uruguayan is considered to be past his peak and plans have already been set in motion as to who could fill that void.

Luka Jovic and Antoine Griezmann are possibilities, but Mundo Deportivo claim Barca are also huge admirers of Rashford.

Bosz hopes Brandt, Havertz & Tah stay at Leverkusen


Bayer Leverkusen head coach Peter Bosz has admitted he is unsure about the futures of top talents Julian Brandt, Kai Havertz and Jonathan Tah.

“It's hard to say if they'll play together here next year, I do not know, but I assume they're here,” said the Dutch coach.

“All three are not done yet, so I hope the three stay together for at least a year. But, as a coach, you can only hope, you cannot decide.”

Kean came close to to Milan switch in January


Agent Mina Riola has claimed that Juventus youngster Moise Kean had agreed personal terms with AC Milan in January only for the deal to be blocked by the Old Lady.

“There are several assessments to be made, the boy [Kean] must always play,” Riola said via a Facebook video.

“I almost brought him to AC Milan in January, Leonardo and I had done it all but Juve didn't want it to happen.”

Riola also revealed that contract talks between Riola and Kean have stalled: “At the moment, there is a stalemate. The boy has the obligation to always play,” he said.

Klopp not interested in resigning Coutinho


Football broadcaster Ian McGarry has claimed Liverpool are unlikely to resign Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona.

“The fee I’m told that Barcelona are looking for is not the same as the one they paid Liverpool more than 18 months ago,” he told The Transfer Window podcast.

“They would accept around €90m (£78m) for the player, accepting the loss but getting the salary off of the wage bill at the Camp Nou, and I think it will be very interesting to see where Coutinho ends up.

“I’m pretty certain that Liverpool’s not an option - both financially and I think that Jurgen Klopp believes he has a more balanced side now than he did when he had Coutinho in it.”

Partey keen on Premier League move


Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey wants to move to the Premier League report ESPN.

The outlet claim the midfielder is a target for Manchester City and Arsenal and has expressed a desire to leave the Wanda Metropolitano.

ESPN state several clubs are ready to meet his €50 million (£43m) buy-out clause, despite manager Diego Simeone’s reluctance to allow the player to leave.

Tottenham want Perisic


Inter are ready to accept a cut-price deal to allow winger Ivan Perisic to leave the club.

According to TuttomercatoWeb, Tottenham are keen to land the Croatian for a fee of €25million (£21m) this summer, a reduced fee compared to Inter’s previous asking price of €35million (£30m).

The Croatian was a reported long-term target for Manchester United, while Arsenal also came close to securing his services in January.

James confirms Swansea contract talks are ongoing


Swansea City’s Daniel James has confirmed he is in talks with the club over a new contract.

The Welshman was subject of a number of bids from Leeds United in January - and nearly joined the club on transfer deadline day - but is now hinting he could remain with the Swans next season.

“That’s still underway,” said James when asked about Swansea contract talks, as per the Yorkshire Post.

“It’s about concentrating on the football for me. This time last season I wasn’t playing first-team football, but it’s something that can happen.

Benfica want to raise Felix buy-out clause


The Mirror claim Benfica hope to retain the services of Joao Felix by increasing his buy-out clause to a whopping €150 million (£128m).

His current deal means that figure is set at €120 million (£102m) but the Lisbon club believe by raising it, the likes Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus will end any hopes they have of signing the attacker this summer. 

Arsenal enter race to sign Herrera


Arsenal are interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera.

The Spaniard’s contract is set to expire this summer and he has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

The MailOnline are new reporting the Gunners have registered an interest in the 29-year-old.

While staying at Old Trafford next season still remains a possibility, the outlet claim Herrera wants to increase his weekly salary from £80,000-a-week to a figure closer to the £150,000 mark.

Cardiff to tell FIFA Sala deal was not legally binding


Cardiff City are set to tell FIFA that Emiliano Sala's transfer from Nantes was not legally binding, according to Sky Sports.

The Premier League club have yet to pay the £15m transfer fee for the striker, who was killed in a plane crash two months ago after saying goodbye to Nantes team-mates.

Cardiff have until April 3 to respond following Nantes' complaint to FIFA.

Luciano Acosta is a target of Turkish side Fenerbahce, according to Fanatik.

The D.C. United midfielder was previously a target of Paris Saint-Germain, but a move failed to materialize in January.

Acosta's contract is set to expire in December, giving the Argentine leverage when it comes to a move this year.

PSG are closing in on the signing of Ander Herrera, according to AS.

Negotiations between the club and the Spaniard's representaitives are in the home stretch as he appears set to arrive in Paris on a free transfer this summer.

Herrera is seen as an ideal complement to Marco Verratti in the center of the park, and PSG will give Herrera a raise to bring him to France

Real offer James for Pogba


The Manchester United midfielder has stated his admiration for Real Madrid

Real Madrid have offered James Rodriguez as a makeweight as the team pushes to sign Paul Pogba, according to Don Balon.

Pogba recently stated that it is a "dream" to play for Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid, and the club is keen to make that dream come true.

But Manchester United are not happy with Rodriguez as the makeweight in the deal, instead insisting on a deal involving Gareth Bale. 

Moreno set to sign with Barca


Alberto Moreno is set to sign a contract with Barcelona, according to Sport.

The full-back is out of contract with Liverpool this summer, having served as backup to Andrew Robertson for the better part of two seasons.

Moreno previously played in La Liga with Sevilla, having won a Europa League crown with the club. 

Kovacic offered to Inter and Bayern


Real Madrid have offered Matteo Kovacic to Inter and Bayern Munich, but neither side is enthused by the idea of signing the Croatian, according to FCInterNews.

Kovacic is currently on loan with Chelsea and, given the club's transfer ban, a stay in London is unlikely.

Zinedine Zidane, who has worked with him before at Real Madrid, is willing to let Kovacic move on, but Bayern and Inter are not very interested in the midfielder.

Gressell's contract with the club runs through 2020 and the German-born midfielder has proven to be a vital piece throughout the past two seasons.
