Ghana striker Ebenzer Assifuah has been adjudged as the Best Player of the month of August for French second-tier side Le Havre.
The 24-year-old, who joined Le Havre from Swiss giants FC Sion in January, scored three goals in August after making four appearances, as his club maintained their top position on the log.
The Dean Club began August with an empathetic 3-0 victory over Paris FC in League 2 before they pipped Valenciennes 1-0 at home. They lost 7-6 on penalties against Tours in Coupe de la Ligue, after sharing the spoils goalless in regulation time and also drew 1-1 with Nimes in a league game at home.
Assifuah shrugged off competitions from defender Yacouba Coulibaly and midfielder Zinedine Ferhat.
He was part of the Ghana U20 squad that participated in the 2013 Fifa World Youth Championship and made his senior debut in May 2016 as the Black Stars drew goalless against Mozambique in 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
