The Ghana international is once again on the move due to limited opportunity in Denmark

Ghana goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey has completed a three-year move to former club Valerenga.

The 29-year-old joined the Norwegian club from Danish outfit Brondby, having struggled for playing time since joining the latter on a four-year contract in January.

The shot-stopper, who made only two league appearances for the Boys from the Western outskirts, will not play for his new club until July 21 when the Norwegian transfer window opens.

“It’s fantastic to be back,” Kwarasey told his club’s official website.

“It feels very right and very good, and I'm really looking forward.

“I’ll take the gold with Valerenga.”

Kwarasey played for Valerenga’s youth side but made his professional debut at Stromsgodset, whom he joined in 2007.

Having spent seven years with Godset, the Black Star transferred to American club Portland Timbers in 2014 before joining Norwegian giants Rosenborg in July last year.

The Oslo-born has 35 caps for Ghana.
