KPL promotion playoff date moved forward as Nakumatt prepare to host Ushuru

The Kenyan Premier League promotion play-off first leg match pitting Nakumatt against Ushuru has been rescheduled.

Football Kenya Federation has pushed forward the date for the first leg playoff by a day, from Saturday to Friday.

Nakumatt, who finished 16th in the KPL, will battle for their stay in the top tier against Ushuru, who rounded off the National Super League on third place.

Nakumatt will host the first leg at the Camp Toyoyo from 3 pm with the return leg coming nine days later; October 28 at the MISC Kasarani.

The aggregate winner will join NSL Champions Western Stima and KCB in the KPL that is set to kick off on December 8.

In the meantime, the transfer window is slated to swing open on October 29, 2018, with the deadline set on January 4, 2019. The mid-season window, meanwhile, will open on March 11, and close on April 8, 2019.
