Kenya stagnates as Ghana move a place up in latest Fifa rankings

Kenya has stagnated at position 105 in the latest Fifa World ranking released on Thursday.

Harambee Stars were inactive in the last international break after Caf calld off Kenya’s Afcon qualifying tie against Sierra Leone.

Meanwhile, Ghana moved a place up to position 51 worldwide while Sierra Leone and Ethiopia, Kenya’s other opponents in the ongoing Afcon qualifiers are 116 and 151 positions respectively.

Uganda is still the top-ranked East African side at position 75, having moved four places up while Senegal, Tunisia and Morocco occupy the top three positions in the continent.

Nigeria remained fifth continentally while Congo dropped three places to sixth above Ghana, who are seventh while Kenya is in position 21 in Africa.

There is no change in the world’s top five where Belgium are still at the summit followed by France, Brazil, Croatia and England.
