Ushuru FC head coach Ken Kenyatta has urged his players to 'wake up' and fight for their promotion position before it is too late.
The tax men were defeated 2-1 by Nairobi Stima on Sunday, a week after they were held to a one all draw by visiting Coast Stima. The experienced tactician is unhappy with the outcome but he believes his side is firmly in the race.

“Dropping points is not a good thing at all, it is a match I feel we could have won, but again we wasted many scoring opportunities and ended up paying the price.
"Yes, we have time to rectify things but it has to be done before it is too late, we are almost reaching the finishing line.
“We don’t have easy teams in the league, but we have to show we are better by being consistent especially in the remaining matches, we have to treat them as a final,” Kenyatta told Goal.
Ushuru is second on 52 points same as leaders Western Stima, who have a superior goal difference.
