The Red and Whites were defeated by the Black Eagles at the Stade Louis II but the Senegal international has opted for a positive outlook

Monaco forward Keita Balde is upbeat despite his side's 2-1 loss to Besiktas in a Uefa Champions League game on Tuesday evening.

Leonardo Jardim's side has now lost two out of their opening three games - with both losses coming on their home turf - and they are currently winless and sit bottom of the Group G log.

However, the 22-year-old who joined the French Champions from Lazio in the summer believes the team will break out of their slump and with their hard work, they will start churning out improved performances via his social media page.

Balde will be looking to score his first goal for Monaco when they host Caen in a French Ligue Un game on October 21.
