Gor Mahia defender Karim Nizigiyimana has resumed training with the team.

K’Ogalo coach Dylan Kerr has revealed to Goal that Nizigiyimana trained with the first team squad on Monday but he still has two weeks to be considered for a competitive match.

“Karim trained with us on Monday but he is still two weeks away to be available. That means he will not be ready for our FKF Shield Cup match against Posta Rangers and also our Caf match against Yanga in Tanzania on Sunday.”

Kerr also revealed that midfielder Ernest Wendo has also resumed training after picking an injury in Cecafa Kagame Cup but will not be rushed to start a match.

“For Wendo I need to be very careful because he wants to train and play all the time and I can’t afford to have him injured again. He is a diamond for the team and I can only play him when I feel he is ready to play.”
