Kaizer Chiefs are set to be without striker Leonardo Castro as they travel to face Free State Stars in a Premier Soccer League (PSL) match on Tuesday night.

The Colombian forward sustained an ankle injury during their 4-1 win over Cape Town City on Saturday afternoon at the Cape Town Stadium as he needed to be substituted in the first half.

On the other hand, coach Giovanni Solinas is set to head to Bethlehem to face his former bosses without the services of defender Erick Mathoho, who is also likely to miss the game due to a groin injury.

Despite the setbacks, the Glamour Boys will be boosted by the return of midfielder Joseph Molangoane who is now undergoing work in the gym as he looks to work his way back to full fitness following a nasty injury he sustained almost a month ago.

Meanwhile, Amakhosi released a statement on Twitter ahead of the match scheduled to be staged at Goble Park Stadium at 19:30.

Following their first PSL win in the current season over the Citizens, coach Solinas and his troops are gunning for their second successive win against Stars, who are fresh from a 1-0 loss to Polokwane City.

Moreover, the Italian manager will be tempted to call upon the likes of Bernard Parker who came on for Castro on Saturday or Ryan Moon in order to bolster his attacking options.

Looking at the back four, the Soweto giants have adequate cover with Daniel Cardoso and Siyabonga Ngezana have featured prominently in the heart of the defence.

In addition, the coach could also decide to hand Mario Booysen his debut on Tuesday night as he could partner up with either Cardoso or Ngezana whilst he has also has Teenage Hadebe who can be roped in to do the job.
